East Lancs Railway Summer Diesel Gala 2008

Three shots is all I have to show for the East Lancs 2008 Gala! Taken on the first Saturday, a very overcast day with only the Peak and Western in action. Unfortunately work commitments and prior arrangements mean that this is one to forget! DOH!

 45041 is captured @ Burrs heading for Bury with 2J70 14:50 Rawtenstall - Heywood on 28th June 2008. The Peak from the Midland Railway Center was a last minute replacement for fellow MRC Peak D182 which unfortunatly had to withdraw because of engine compartment contamination problems.
